About the project
GEV Filmes was created from the desire to express bold, intense and emotionally engaging stories. The main challenge was to translate this powerful personality into a mature, functional and expandable visual identity. The brand needed to reflect energy, irreverence and presence, while also being scalable, timeless and capable of supporting the company’s growth as a professional film studio. Another important objective was to move away from a visual language that felt overly personal or subjective, allowing GEV to position itself strongly as a production company rather than just an individual creator. The solution involved a strategic process focused on personality mapping, market analysis and the development of a strong, expressive and technically consistent visual system.
Concept
The creative concept emerges from the fusion of aesthetic intensity and emotional energy. GEV Filmes works with powerful narratives, bold attitude and a sense of constant motion — and these characteristics guided the entire visual territory. The vibrant palette, especially the acidic yellow, communicates immediacy and impact. Geometric typographies combined with hand-drawn elements express the blend of technique and spontaneity that defines the studio’s style. The concept reveals a brand that is free, youthful, irreverent and highly expressive, capable of standing out in its niche without losing authenticity.
The visual identity was built as a direct reflection of the brand’s personality: energetic, strong and unmistakable.
The palette mixes black, white and greys — bringing technical and professional grounding — with neon yellow, which carries attitude and visual intensity. The typographic system enhances presence and impact with bold, geometric forms contrasted by expressive handmade strokes. The logo achieves balance between structure and irreverence, using bold spacing and distinctive shapes to ensure clarity and immediate recognition. The entire visual system was designed to be powerful and versatile, performing consistently across motion, print and digital environments.
The applications demonstrate the full strength of the identity: bold posters, large-scale typography, expressive corporate materials and a dominant social-media presence.
